Hayate ran his hand through his hair as he walked away after sending the additional note. He'd really had no idea of how to phrase it. Hayate knew he probably should have explained more, except he didn't really know how to, or how much, or even if he did try explaining everything whether that'd be enough for his family, because it would be inevitable that somehow he would have forgotten some detail and they'd ask about that. He'd sent the first letter beforehand in hopes that he'd be able to get his thoughts together on how to phrase this, but...it hadn't worked. Well, that and maybe they wouldn't ask. Except Hayate bet that somehow they'd figure it out. He had no idea of how, but well, they were family and they got those little details.
Shaking his head, he walked back to the forge and tried not to imagine the scene where his entire family exclaimed over two sentences Hayate had just sent them.
